Campesino Cheeses
Campesino is a creamy fresh Colombian tradition that can be found on most dinner tables in Colombia and regions of South America. It resembles a cross between mozzarella and queso fresco. The flavor is mild with a touch of salt. The texture is very creamy. Culinary uses include: Grilling, pan frying, and baking. This cheese can be served alone or paired with our own Caramel "Cajeta- Dulce de Leche," honey, fruit, and a is a wonderful topping for any salad.
Tex-Mex Cheeses

This Lucky Layla Farms original combines the characteristic of our Campesino and a Tex-Mex tradition of red peppers Jalapenos and habanero chilies. This cheese also has a creamy texture with the flavor of the spices but without the fire! This cheese can be fried like an egg. The result is fried cheese without the batter. It also will add zest to any salad or can be paired with any grilled meats. Tex-Mex cheese is wonderful when served with your favorite beer or wine.
